PlayCom's business concept is to create applications to enrich communities based on unique characters or brands.
We target ourselves as a "special effects"-agency for clients who desires creative and technically pioneering solutions for their characters or brands.
At present we focus more on wireless solutions than Internet and work with creating new characters as well as enrich existing character worlds.

PlayCom Game Design AB, former Game Design Sweden AB, was established in 1995. The first project was developing the Kula World Playstation game for Sony Europe.
After completing the Kula World game we changed platforms for our games from consoles to Internet distribution. PlayCom merged with former Netbaby World AB and developed a 3D Game Engine as well as other proprietary software for Internet communities. In April 2003 PlayCom was acquired through a management buyout by the management team, as well as key employees from former Netbaby World.
